Here's a little snippet if you asked me the question "So, tell me about yourself, Abbie"...

Abbie Martin

You may have recieved my CV/resume which only shows a few of my  most recent clients along with an addendum to others.

I could not list all my previous clients on my CV because my CV would be very, very long; hence the addendum.

If you have not received the addendum, please contact me and I can send it to you.

"I maintain a plethora of experience in the instructional design, project management and eLearning arenas.  My articles have made their way to being published in several corporate training magazines; including eLearning Industry.com.

I have been a member of the board of directors for membership for the Association for Talent and Development's South Florida Chapter.

After writing over 40 manuals as a technical writer, I discovered my true passion by pulling technology and training together. So I obtained a bachelor's degree in instructional design (the art of developing training).  I then contracted with various corporate industries, then made my way to larger and larger firms as a contractor.  I then became incorporated and founded a firm called Global eLearning to reach client-companies across the globe. I have now changed the name to Global Corporate Training because I find that as technology grows; so does deliverables in the corporate training environment and I don't want my company to be pigeon-held into just eLearning (for example, AR/VR is making it's way to corporate classrooms very, very soon so I want to be ahead of the game).

Sometimes I've been asked to scope out a project and when the project calls for it, I have resources when I need them; such as audio/production, developers, artists, voice-over talent, translators, LMS administrators and gamification talent so the project can flurish.

I'm very technology-driven and motivated by proven state-of-the-art training techniques.  As you may/may not have heard, gamification has made it's way into many eLearning's these days and I foresee augmented reality/mixed reality is right behind it making a path right into the corporate classroom.  Therefore, I am writing a book on how to bring AR/MR into the corporate classroom; what it takes from A-Z."
